A Long Walk
A Journey through Lingering Shadows

a long walk
far away,
a strange presence –
invisible in some way.
silent words,
waning whispers,
a warm breath that
lingers in echoes.
an ache,
agony of fog,
mumbled low
in a thick, deep forest.
seek solace
in the stillness
of time,
with a hope that rests.
