EVEN SMOKE GOES

EVEN SMOKE GOES

Does this scarlet rose know where the smoke goes?
A tender breeze was with the rose long ago.
A stream for the rose is something which flows.
Maybe the rose is no longer ruby in the smoke.
A grey cloud may have been a white stork.
Now the grey cloud is the smoke’s talk with the rose.
The stream doesn’t know but it still flows.
Even smoke goes.
