Sacrament of Love

Sacrament of Love

written by: Peg Prendeville

Intense eyes absorb
attention, holding her gaze
in silent rapport.

Hands, soft as petals,
Fondly stroke the soft skin,
Relaxing them both.

Brooched to her mother
Giving, receiving, needing
Each other to live.
