Dissatisfaction

Dissatisfaction

written by: Margaret Karim

Veil of misty rain
All around
Slippery cobbles
On the ground
Old Town enveloped
In hazy light
Atmospheric
Winter’s night
Wears a red raincoat
Enviable style
Full figured sashay
Visible from a mile
Aware of hostile stares
From passersby
Naked envy in
Some prying eyes
Accustomed to gossip
Its constant presence
Has developed
An air of insouciance
Learned to brush
Negative interest aside
Understands, self-assurance,
Leaves others dissatisfied
