Little Bird

Little Bird

written by: Nina Taylor

A little bird sits in the evening light
Sings a beautiful song to welcome the night.
To calm our souls and soothe our minds
To push all bad thoughts far behind.

Sing little bird for the hearts that bleed
For the anguished souls and people in need.

Sing little bird that people will see
Causing pain and suffering’s not the way to be.

Sing little bird to make the world aright
To turn this darkness into light.

Sing little bird as loud as you will
To herald a time that is peaceful and still.
