Waiting For My Doctor

Waiting For My Doctor

Mishaps happen, how? We don’t know
Or knowingly our eyes, we turn off
Today with patience waiting for an ortho
Felt as if my limbs were chopped off

Many tough times gave my infirm spine
Awful to move even my limbs bad
What is the reason and who will define it?
The X-ray is like genie darkness clad

Into the glow board holding the film
The doctor failed me to read his face
Said the chance of recovery isn’t so dim
Stick to the meds and let’s not race

Grows strength afresh and I agree
There are ways to grow and detain frailty
