Hark! Who can that be?
Usurper, pretender
rapscallion, buffoon.
Applauded by minions
of title and name
the jester performs
for all who will see.
Juggling agendas
of stately affairs
priorities, deadlines
deception and fraud.
The jester holds court
on a throne gilded gold
mimicking, miming
he who is not.
