She lies peacefully holding her child in her arms but now both won’t wake up and join their herd. They paid the price for the ‘mistake’ of entering into man’s land. They came to have a juicy treat from sugarcane field but the child got curious about a shiny object and grabbed it, what the poor soul didn’t know was it was the grip of death. The child cried in pain and the mother came running to set the child free from this painful grip but the attempt was futile and both died due to electric shock from live wire hidden in the field. Do these innocent beasts deserve such a death? It is time to make a change…. They too have right to live, right to move around for food and safety. It is time that the policymakers and people must act, #naturebuilding is necessary for #nationbuilding. Let this be the new idea in the dawn of a new year…
