A Songbird

A Songbird

written by: Hagit Carmel

It rose in the distance of blue skies
On a background of light clouds.
Resting on a plaid of asymmetrical threads
Rhyming poems weaving squares.
Once on a warp
once on a woof
Always between heaven and earth.
