A URANIAN YEAR

So many so-so highs…… and lows
Your orbit now……. predictable
I averted my eyes, ignored the sound
Of all the signs that caterwauled….. after all
I have my own falling stars to attend
Which catch my eye……. then mesmerize
As I watch with awe…… they appear so far
High-high above but are
down so low.
