Amidst your shore

“Amidst the tropical sand,
Pearled in colored,
He laid
The shore desperately trying to pull him back,
Their ebb and flow was tireless,
Relentless even, as if Davy Jones wished for his return
The adventure before him was to take hold,
Until the mist found him,
Thick and coarse
Its breast smothered him
The cloud of suffocating silence
Fearing the storm may come,
And with it
A hail of liquid daggers searching for skin to pierce
Desperately searching for sanctuary,
A sliver of protection,
He scrambled to find a way to wait out his storm,
To come out alive where he’s perished before.
