Amazing Grace

written by: Anne G

Amazing grace
etches the face
of one whose life
defines a race

A race of beings
fired in love
forged with time
with timeless fate

Amazing grace
in weathered lines
perpetual life

Fated journey
casted die
light and dark
dictate the pace

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
