As Is The Hermit
written by: John Patrick Robbins
Serenity is found in solitude.
Sunsets alone are a canvas of sadness and beauty.
Peace always comes at the sacrifice of the comforts of the presence of another.
I have known pain, but never once have I found it lessened by company.
A bottle lasts longer alone, as so does a meal when consumed by one.
I cannot afford the burden of another’s ego let alone their stomach.
I would rather drive myself crazy than Uber with another to my final destination.
