She was a school librarian for The Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. and followed by her position as Head Librarian at St. Albans School for Boys in Washington, D.C. where art was combined with her curriculum with relevant lessons in picture book design, calligraphy and bookmaking. Using visual arts as the medium, words are an integral component of almost every piece of work whether poetry, prose, or flash fiction. Her work is included in special collections at the Library of Congress and other libraries. During the years of the COVID pandemic, she has published three books which are included in the Library of Congress Special Collections.
