Before The Snow

Before The Snow

written by: John Drudge

It’s good
That we are alive
And in love
In the way
That days drip into
Dusk
Needing you
The way you are
With me
In every moment
That we breathe
The same air
In the same
Morning sun
The essence of us
Beyond words
And explanation
When I’m in you
And you in me
Like the warm touch
Of clouds
In the cool crisp sky
Before the snow
Falls
