Bouleversant

written by: Gerry Stefanson

on the pitch – field – court –class room
party – home – your bed room.
it is amazing how alone
it is amazing how crowded
it is amazing how wrong
how it just doesn’t fit

like a shoe that’s too tight
like at same time too loose
like you are aware of a
pebble can be there too
of its own accord
not for you to choose

strange how so many claim/ how easy
(it comes to you)
strange how you strive/ how hard
(it comes to you)
strange how it never seems to be easy/hard
(it comes to you)
claim you strive, seems never easy to be so hard

good enough NEVER good enough.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Kyle had a huge drive, strived to be the best. Folks said everything came easy to him, he worked harder, trained harder, rarely complained.
