Burden
written by: theRavensproctor
The stagnancy of my wonders
Whether they ever truly love me
If they still would
Even if they knew
the weight of my sins
The private thoughts
That waltz on my lobes;
How temporal existence is
People, so eager to live
Only to die in a rush
You wonder what’s worse
Your reclusive nature
of finding the truth
Not understanding everyone you hurt
Everything slowly dying around you
Is it your effect
Or the inability to save them
From being captured by life
What a responsibility
The burden of self, the levity of being
the drive of my sins
How happy can I be
before I cease to live
