Though my head aches due to eye strain,
I try to go on and endure the pain
Knowledge is something I really need
It’s the one thing I’d use to feed
The mind is empty, it need be full
But earth is against me, with gravitational pull
I desire some rest, but I know it can wait
Am doing my best, ain’t falling for fish bait
For all I know, I really can do it
I just have to focus, and never quit.

Written in the year 2010, when trouble loomed over the author due to difficulty in preparing for college entrance exams.
