Disarray

Disarray

written by: Anna Canić

I know I’m nice –
I wore two rings,
I died but twice,
But I won’t cling

I know I’m rare –
Ain’t no big deal,
You shouldn’t dare
Unless I feel

Chemistry or
Oxygen lack?
Too much of fluor
Behind my back

Your disarray
A way too small
To lead astray,
To make me fall

The mist we share
Will dissipate…
I know you care,
But I won’t wait.
