Forever A Family

I have lost many loved ones,
to whom we refer to as death.
Losing them affected me tons,
for they fought ’til their last breath.

The loss of life I’ve endured,
hasn’t been fair in the least.
So many could have been cured,
but time had become decreased.

Even though I may miss them,
at least they aren’t in pain now.
Their suffering can now stem,
and I’ll carry on somehow.

They will remain within me,
in my memories and heart.
Forever a family,
that death, itself, can not part…
