Gingerbread

Gingerbread

written by: Syedah

With little shy hands
my brittle house stands
Dazed with breadcrumbs
Tasted our thumbs
Honey glazed nectar
trace our structure
Words braced shall linger
As firm fingers hold
Our torn house walls fold
Dainty roof falls damaged
tumbles through, All scavenge
Weepy crawls then tumbles
Dusk seeps, crumbles
Bittered with breadcrumbs
