Goodness, a poem by Melissa Lemay at Spillwords.com

Goodness

Goodness

written by: Melissa Lemay

I sink into
the blank page—
it searches me

deeper than
the black-brown
disc florets

of the sunflower.
A poem crawls
out buzzing,

its mandible
covered
in powdery

pollen globule
goodness
of words.
