Hawthorn White

Hawthorn White

written by: Kenneth Vincent Walker

Behold the lore of Hawthorn
White. ‘Twas on a night like
This in flickering candlelight.

Just a brush of her tainted
Leaves cause the itch of a
Witch; an infectious disease

Born of her thorn’s fateful
Prick. For she takes great
Delight in the might of her

Poisonous bite rendering
Victims paralyzed before
They even realize they’ve

Been bitten. An apparition
In hindsight, yet lurks in the
Shadow of night; for this is

The lore of Hawthorn White.
