As Khalil Gibran so aptly put it, words rise from the infinite source, smudged with experiences of life, and fall into verses, the cascading rhythm pulsating through the writer. Vidya Venkataramanan, draws inspiration from these infinite depths, trying to reach the core of humanity through her poems. From the sublime to the mundane, her writing spans fun, a little bit of satire, and children's stories. Writing poems, that connected to the soul, led to the publishing of two books of poetry that were co-authored by like minded poets. Juggling the various duties of wife, and mother to an only daughter, her love of literature, and a passionate interest in writing, was never far from her mind. Veering towards spirituality, to study the higher goal of life, was for Vidya, but a natural course to take.
