Grim Reaper

written by: Verona Jones

Death sends adults shivering
Beneath full moon's blood red haze
Under covers quivering
Fearing reaper's hell-red gaze.

His scythe gently hovering
Cold metal raining kisses
On naked necks lovingly
Whilst humans freeze then listens

Will man greet end graciously
At Grim Reaper's ancient lore
Or meet his death tenaciously
When bold Grim knocks on the door
