Hope

Hope

written by: Sharona Reeves

Don’t talk to people who don’t listen.
Don’t listen if you don’t ask for an opinion.

We live in a world where double standards take the lead role.
Souls are sold as government collateral.

Loose change becomes invalid.
Meanwhile, narcissistic venom corrupts emotional validity.

Never meant to take the lead, love is blind.
The narcissist manipulates the situation, taking center stage.
Love is seen as a tool for their own gain.

Hate scatters death and pain in the spotlight.
Lies are planted like seeds of destruction.
Peace is forgotten in the face of violence.
Love gives way to hate and fear.

Troubles bloom like flowers.
Trust shatters like glass.
The truth reveals itself like a virus.
Hope is scarce like a dry desert.

If one word could change the world, it would be hope.
Hope allows for the courage to take on life’s challenges, encouraging the strength to keep moving forward.

Living on hope is not for the meek.
It requires resilience, determination, and a refusal to give up in the face of adversity.
