I Walk Alone

I Walk Alone

written by: Jamie B

In the vast expanse of the world, he walked alone,
A solitary figure against the backdrop of time.
His footsteps echoed in the silence,
Each step a testament to his resilience.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,
He journeyed on beneath the endless sky.
The weight of his thoughts, heavy on his mind,
As he left his old life far behind.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to years,
Yet still he walked, conquering his fears.
In the solitude of his wandering,
He found a sense of peace, a silent understanding.

The road stretched out before him, never-ending,
Each mile a story of his soul, unbending.
Through storm and sunshine, he pressed on,
A man on a quest, his destination unknown.

And in the end, when his journey was through,
He stood at the edge of a world brand new.
A man transformed by the road he had trod,
Forever changed by the path he had plod.

Alone he had walked, but not without gain,
For in solitude, he found himself again.
A wanderer, a seeker, a man of the earth,
His journey complete, his spirit rebirthed.
