Most life was living in the light
Now I enjoy the dark
Turning my pain into Art
Keeping it together
Trying not to fall apart
Death came
tried to kidnap me
I wouldn’t let it
may it be forsaken
I still have lives to be lived
Soul not taken
Enjoying the sounds of my laugh
Choosing my own path
Happiness made by joy I created
Left those behind
who were filled with hatred
Thankfully experiencing my dreams
Thinking about my belated
Fighting for peace by all means
This new me
Walking happily
