Jinxed by Love

Jinxed by Love

She walks into the doors
And people go hush hush!
As she is nothing like they have ever seen
And they say,
“Oh! She is jinxed by love!”
No longer waiting for people to join
She is her own clan!
She makes moves
No one has ever played!
And they say,
“Oh! She is jinxed by love!”
A beast to some
To some a goddess!
She carries both within!
What you are is… what you see in her
As simple as simple could be
Yet a riddle..more like a sphinx!
And they say,
“Oh! She is jinxed by love!”
Whatever she touches
Turns to dust but not gold
And she wonders if she is jinxed by love?
Indeed she is!
To break the illusions
And see beyond the shine
The inevitable truth!
As dust is what we are made of
And where we are meant to return!
No vows said, no rings exchanged
Yet she is taken for life!
By the love she has found inside!
And I say,
“Yes, she is jinxed by love!”
To be the bigger and better love!
The one who doesn’t need a man by her side!
Though she knows there is one made for her
Yet she is not in a hurry!
She giggles, she plays, she slays!
And they say,
“Oh! She is jinxed by love!”
