Whisper of Distant Skies

Whisper of Distant Skies

written by: Tulip

She sees him in the corridor, admiring his brown eyes,
Forgetting all of life’s truths and its countless lies.

When he’s far away, she gazes, falling in
Love, it’s true, though he doesn’t know
Her, her love for him grows.

The bitterness of harsh reality and life’s cold despair,
Disappear as she flutters ’round him without a care.

But what if in another universe, fate has a different guise?

Would their paths cross differently, under those distant skies?
