Ernie Stricsek

Ernie moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, after retiring as an engineering executive in the aerospace and automotive industries. This has given him time to engage in two of his passions, history and writing. Ernie is especially interested in the history of the American Civil War. In addition to studying it, he has taught several courses at a community college and conducted private tours of the Gettysburg National Park. He enjoys tennis, biking, walking, photography, playing the guitar with friends and traveling. Ernie especially cherishes family time spent with his wife, his cat Chloe (who is the real boss of the family), his sons and their wives, and his utterly amazing grandchildren. He is currently working on a historical novel about a police detective in pre-World War II Germany.
