Light in The Dark

Light in The Dark

written by: Breanna Hobbs-Dunning

It’s the darkness I feel when I’m dismal.
For every tear I shed, you take a piece of light.

In the dark I feel alone.
In the dark I believe is my home.
Not a home for one to love but a home for one to keep.

For not everyone believes their life is worth light.

Before I say goodbye and let the dark win this fight.

I want you to know, that you were my light.
