Like A Poetry

written by: Priyanka Dash

Rejuvenated with joy she frolicked around,
Her tenderness dazzled in flushed charisma,
But the dark clouds smoldered viciously at her
To cast down thunders on a flourishing dream,
Rose clasped between fingers slashed thorns through
The satin soft palms,
Her plump hearty lips scraped off of smiles
To dwell in doleful tears of fright;
Dusk was the tint of her skin,
The canvas she painted her stars in,
And in her eyes gleamed a mirthful enchant of ardour,
Too deep and pristine for their naked eyes to see,
A frame of beauty, heavenly whorls of lotus,
She had engraved herself in,
To bloom in enthralling harmony of bliss,
To tread a felicity so solemn even in filthy pits;
Rugged off, trampled over and bruised by torments
She rose like a dawn forth an agonising night,
By the tranquil breezes and plunging streams of montane mist
She cascaded like melody of struck strings of violin,
On the magnificent sky laced around verdant valleys
She ascended like golden threads of poetry.
