Love Encapsulated

Love Encapsulated

written by: The Barefoot Cajun

Tucked within myself I hear the tremors of thunder
Inside the womb is where I’m safe sealed within the embryonic sac
Immersed in a pool of thick translucent fluid covering me as I float peacefully enveloped in warmth and love
Guns, bombs and raging minds scream in pursuit of power, while some seek safe shelter

Floating, connected to my birth mother cushioned from the hard icy world
She’s in tune with my every chill and sniffle
Knowing me since conception
An egg and a sperm swimmer with a passionate love created my messy self

Her body absorbs the shock for me
A momma and her son woven together by a life saving cord
Tethered to her without a care in the world
Love encapsulated
