MASK

MASK

written by: Shariaja

Just a drop poured into her skin
A silent hesitation flew in the air
It was perfectly shaded with that beam
Only she knew the art, a flawless flair

Her charisma and aura was to die for
Unnoticed was her deepened anguish
That sparkle in the eyes gently glossed over
Inside a timid heart she laid in distress

The air caressed my heart pouring the story
My eyes saw through her, stripping off the fiction
Like she collided to a mirror, stood up in glory
With that mask revealed, both sensed affiliation

Comfort was found in an stranger
Without a word, just that peculiar glance
That abrupt peace felt so secure
Both living that second from distance
