Morning Thirst

Morning Thirst

written by: John Drudge

Strange parades
In the theater of sleeping minds
Fleeting moments
Cherished
Over relentless waves
Transient sparks in the cosmic night
Fragile enigmas
Weaving hope
Defiant and eternal
Boundless
With nocturnal resonance
Unravelling space
Tales of shifting sands
Elusive blooms and veiled emotions
As the dream beckons us
To awaken
With the gift of dawn
And the haunting grace
Of thirst
