My Conundrum

My conundrum is this
Which stimuli to react upon
Choice of facts
Stacked and packed
Heartfelt or statistical
How will my choice impact
Will it even count
A pollen particle
Or rock slide
It’s all by chance
To skim the fat
To separate the cream
To open the flood gates
Which choice
Which outcome
So I trust
In my heart and soul
These words and their intended
Lofty goals
