Forget

Forget

Do we forget words
Or the meanings
Nuance of sound and what they symbolize
Descriptors of an action for understanding
Floating away in fogs of misuse
Burned away as if they no longer serve purpose
Will I forget the words
I love you
Beautiful as the phrase is
Not hearing the utterance
Numbs my knowledge of comfort
So Assigning seven letters to archives
I store away a lonely truth
But In this case
And with a simple embrace
From a stranger, friend or family
A flickering spark
Guides my memory
Back on the path of realization
Once you learn
You’ll always yearn
For all words and the meanings
