Night Hag

Night Hag

written by: Kiraita Stephen

The lovers of dark nights
Dumb like a fence post
Poor sods,
Muscular and talented
For they lift the night’s sleepless sorrow

They never ping your door for good,
Indeed smart crooks
Yet emaciated,
They enjoy the night’s coldness
These are night runners!

Beautifully undressed,
Hissing along like an unfocused python,
Making funny cries in the night’s silence,
Melodious cries lacking beats of joy
The generation of dark families.

They never worry about the strong winds,
They are icy hot
The sower of their own dark doddle nights
Runners of all time,
The invisible ink
The generation of dark families.
