No More Searching

No More Searching

written by: Jessica Moore

I walked alone for so long looking for a hand to hold,
There’s plenty of fish in the sea or so I’ve been told.

I walked alone for so long looking for an arm to embrace,
No one to hold me so alone so sick of empty space.

I walked alone for so long looking for those lips to be kissed,
Hoping to find someone special where I knew I’d be missed.

I walked alone for so long looking for you although we’ve never seen,
One world lonely, the other has you in it, I’m just somewhere in between.

I walked alone for so long I forgot how good it was to walk together,
That night you became all I was looking for so long, my forever

I walk alone no more, no more searching, no more wait,
I found the one for me, no more searching I’ve found my mate.
