Perfidy

The Poetry Universe, trusting and true, is an infinite Cosmos of feelings and thoughts.
Emoted through words and crafted with love, our literary soul has been dealt a deft blow.
Perfidious hematoma; wounded, not dead. One meaningless, thoughtless and dastardly act.
A shameful abduction, perfidious act, a crushing betrayal – quick, to the heart.
Life is so short, our world much too small. What would be usurped, forgotten is not.

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
