All I wished for in a moonless night was
To steal fireflies from my lonely heart
And set them free
Perhaps I wanted my freedom
And maybe you wanted yours too
Me, from those geometric patterns lovebites gave me
You, you found yours in them
Maybe there were things you never said
And I never heard
Or maybe it was the other way
Who knows
And here I am
Writing all the unsaid
Yours or mine
And tonight is another moonless night
I am a doctor by profession with a passion for writing especially on nature and human behaviour and relationship.
