Quarantined

written by: Daniel Gekonge

@Dan_Gekonge1

I stand here
Behind bars
Ready to sink
Into the earth
Sneeze and sniff
Laugh and cough
Rip open a chest
Filled with seeds
Of pain and neglect
Then blossom into
Flowers and thorns
Fierce like a virus
A Covid-19.
