My heart and soul are severely scarred.
Too much pain and suffering they’ve had to endure.
This is why I try to keep them barred,
until I feel I have found their cure.

I will never understand the evilness of men.
Who hold so much hatred in their heart,
to try to commit the ultimate sin
by making others suffer, until they depart.

I may be stronger than some others,
but that doesn’t mean that I’m invincible,
because too much pain simply smothers,
until I feel completely invisible.

I would never wish my life’s pain
on any other soul that’s living.
For there is nothing to ever gain,
until you become ready for forgiving…
