Singing Out the Blues

written by: Mike Turner

I’m singing out the blues
‘Cause I’ve felt both love and loss
Opportunities I’ve squandered
Dreams and wishes unfulfilled

Yet I find I’ve persevered
Through my sorrow and despair
Finding Hope, Faith and Redemption
In my singing out the blues

For the blues are not about
Falling down, but getting up
Moving on and going forward
Lookin’ off out up ahead

Thus may we all find, together
Strength and Solace, Peace, Acceptance
And the Promise of Tomorrow
In our singing out the blues
