Splash Zone

wearing wellies
leaping
from splash to splash
laughter painting
bright lights of delight
as boot borne waves
wash darkening air,
cool drops of nighttime
curtain
mists of laughter
glee, peeling,
with each puddle crash
Now living in the Scottish Highlands Andrew is realizing what he enjoys, writing for fun, expression, and also for his own wellbeing. He has published 'The Quest for Olde Moss,' an illustrated story-poem-adventure book for 6-11 year olds, Resistance is Fertile/Code of Conduction/Tone of Inflection - collections of short form poetry, and is now editing a pamphlet of longer free form writing for publication late 2025. The second book of the illustrated story-poem-adventure, The Tale of the Undergarden, is currently being illustrated.
