All of a sudden, you are interested
In the girl you used to call ugly
In the nerd you never wanted to talk to
In the postman making his delivery route
In the preacher condemning your very soul
In the groundkeeper cutting some brittle roses

All of a sudden, you are interested
In the farmer slowly milking the cows
In the sweaty guy pushing the lawnmower
In the policeman pointing a gun at you
In the way your mother is screaming away
In the odd poet and his so-called poetry

All of a sudden, you are so interested
In the way flesh will taste in your mouth
