The Bracelet

The Bracelet

written by: Preeti Talwa

Around my slender wrist
A gleaming silver bracelet
The tender touch
Which means so much
A symbol of love, a lover’s tryst
For without this I cannot exist.

Secrets of the past it holds
In its delicate, intricate folds.
A symbol of our deep love
Helping us tide above
Trials and tribulations
Cementing our bond and relations.

During difficult times I see its glow
Which reminds me our love will never slow
This bracelet is a testament to our love
Your gentle clasp, your lover’s kiss
All a timeless symbol of our union and bliss
