The Broken Glasses

The Broken Glasses

written by: Orlando Blake

I build a castle to let
You see the beauty
In it.

You could have whispered
To let the love suffuse
In it.

You wrecked the castle
With a glance,
They were crushed
Into pieces.

I added my thoughts
To see them breathing,
You saw my shrine
As thrash, without a word
Wrenched my heart.

I realised
The slab was
Made of glass,
Tears were flowering
With smiles
To have found the
Real love in dust.
