The Dance

The Dance

Grace the air with gentle movement,
Vigorous passion,
Conduit for the muses,
Nought can compare,
To the rush of sharing such love with the world,
Of the simplest truths displayed in the most beautifully complex ways.

I am a snowflake on the wind,
I swirl back and forth,
Majestic movements making moments of madness seem mundane,
This is my passion,
My souls exists to do this,
My first true love.

Each time the world’s heart beats,
The blood rushes through me,
Exciting the creation of beauty,
I consume this rhythm,
Rest easy in its bosom,
It flows into my lungs to give me life,
A single moment of peace.
